Senator and Nacionalista Party standard bearer Manuel Villar also appeared at the Sinulog parade route.
He shook hands with people who crossed the parade cordon during the one-hour lunch break.
He arrived in Cebu City yesterday morning after attending the Ati-Atihan festival in Iloilo City last Saturday.
His vice presidential candidate Sen. Loren Legarda was at the VIP section of the grandstand along with several NP senatorial candidates.
They included Adel Tamano, Bongbong Marcos and Satur Ocampo, Susan Butch Ople, Gwen Pimentel and former congressmen Gilbert Remulla of Batangas and Neric Acosta of Bukidnon.

Cebu City residents warmly welcomed lawyer and Nacionalista Party senatorial candidate Adel Tamano yesterday during the world famous Sinulog Festival 2010, a yearly celebration in honor of Cebu’s patron saint Santo Nino. Thousands shook hands and requested for photo ops with the NP spokesperson and former Pamantasan ng Lungsod ng Maynila president. Festival organizers estimated this year’s Sinulog crowd to be 8 million.
